do you want to form an alliance with me?
good. good.
Yes, My actual name is MEG A. WATT
Before you ask, my parents weren’t that clever. I married my way into it. It was a solid branding decision — and I kept the name, so it all worked out in the end.
I’m a lifelong learner and avid reader. I have two grown daughters and an adorable bulldog mix (Dolly Pawton) and Penny, whenever she makes a cameo.
When I’m not working, I run an award-winning book review site and speak on panels across the publishing industry.
If I don’t have a book or a bulldog nearby, I’m probably working on a charity that matters to me. I’ve volunteered with Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF), P.E.O., and a number of cultural and community-focused organizations throughout my adult life.

My STRENGTHS
In my two decade career, I have worked at all levels and in most areas of branding and marketing. In that time, I have nailed down my core competencies as content in any form and relations.
I’m also a community builder – internally and externally. I’ve built teams of up to 30 but I’ve built thriving communities of thousands.
Let’s build together.
By learning the core elements of most areas I have touched, I understand how to ask for what I need to achieve marketing goals. Identifying new avenues and strategies is a natural growth point for me. “The gray area” just outside my comfort zone is where I do my best work. If I don’t know it or haven’t tried it, it excites me and I’m ready to build a new skillset. Even if I haven’t worked in an organization exactly like yours, my experiences have all lead me here.
